Youth Groups

Most Churches in the area have youth groups for youth. Most are open to the community. Contact local churches for more information.

Adventure Club – is a program offered through the Kentville Baptist Church is is open to youth ages P-5. There is a weekly program of games, music, stories, snacks, and adventures for Kids. It runs September through May, Wednesdays, 6:15-7:30 pm. MAP

AWANA – Churches and parents team up through weekly programs and special events that introduce children to Christ and build a biblical foundation for faith. There are groups in North Alton, Melvern Square and Berwick. Find a Club

The Edge at South Range Christian Church (near Digby) (Grades 6-12).On Wednesday nights The EDGE for Grades 6-12 meets each week at South Range Christian Church. Lots of fun activities, lessons & games planned for this year. Activities we have done before include: Attending Halifax Mooseheads hockey games, sliding parties, swimming, mini-golfing, bowling, etc.

KidzSLAM is all about Simply Living A Mission! Living out the Gospel in our community. Raising the bar for youth who have little interest in going to church, and helping them to see that they are the church. All youth between ages 4 up to 12 are invited to attend kidzSLAM, which is a weekly event, every Wednesday at The Salvation Army in Kentville from 6 pm to 7:30 pm.

The Pulse Kids (Grades Primary-five). Join us for The Pulse Kids (Gr. P-5) from 6:30-7:30pm. This group is a Fun-filled hour with games, crafts, sometimes we have music and we do some interactive games. Held at the South Range Christian Church near Digby.
