Canada Post:

Write a letter to Santa at this address. Make sure to include your return address so that Santa can write back! You do not need to put a stamp on the envelope:

2019 deadline: December 10

Aurora Newspaper, Greenwood:

Hand deliver your letter to the newspaper’s office (61 School Road, Morfee Annex, Greenwood) until 4 p.m. December 11, 2019. You may also bring in a photo of yourself, and your signature (all will be scanned and added to your letter in print). Letters should be maximum 50 words and include the child’s full name, age and home community. A parent’s name and phone number must also be included. All letters will be published in the December 17 edition.

 

Mall Visits:

Santa is available for visits at both the County Fair Mall in New Minas and the Greenwood mall. 

Greenwood Mall 2019: Santa will be in the mall Thursday & Friday 1-4 & 6-8 and Saturday 10-12 & 1-4 and Sunday 1-4.

 

AVR/ Magic 94.9:

It’s that time of year. Sit down and write your letter to Santa! If you want Santa to read your letter on the radio, make sure you sent it to us soon! You can send it by email to avr@mbsradio.com or magic@mbsradio.com, or drop it off at our Kentville studios. Starting Monday December 2nd, weekday evenings at 5:50pm on AVR, and approximately 6:20pm on Magic 949, Santa starts reading your letters, so make sure he has yours!

Reindeer Webcam:

The Reindeer Webcam will be back again this year by Dec 14th at the Shubenacadie Wildlife Park!

The Reindeer Cam will be up and running by xxx  this year.
 

Shubenacadie Wildlife Park Reindeer Games

The Shubenacadie Wildlife park is open every Saturday and Sunday from 9-3 throughout the winter. On Saturday Dec 21, our Winter Wildlands event includes reindeer games and a craft in the Wetland Centre from 9-3 and a Festive Feeding of the Arctic Fox and Reindeer at 2pm. Regular winter admission applies. For evening fun there will be our 2nd annual Night of Lights on Friday Dec 20 and Saturday Dec 21 from 5-8pm, stroll the fully decorated park with your flashlight to enjoy a nocturnal view of the animals. Holiday music will be playing over the PA system and staff will be stationed throughout the park giving out tasty treats. Children can enjoy face painting and activities in the Wetland Centre while adults can do some last minute shopping in the gift shop. These events have special event pricing of $5 per person with ages 5 and under enjoying for free.
