Submission Guide for the Valley Family Fun Holiday Gift Guide for Kids 

Promote Your Holiday Gifts for Kids and Families! 

The #ShopLocal movement is very strong in the Annapolis Valley, and we would like to help make it even easier for you to support our local businesses and entrepreneurs this holiday season!

Valley Family Fun has become the one-stop, go-to place for families to find all of their information about living in the Annapolis Valley. With an average of 40,000 monthly pageviews and a combined reach of over 5,000 people, Valley Family Fun makes it easy to reach a target market of people actively seeking information for their families, and gift ideas for their kids! 

This is a chance for local businesses – from larger attractions to small mompreneurs– to share their holiday gift ideas with parents who are asking for ideas!

The Valley Family Fun local holiday guide for kids and families will be published mid November. 

If you are a business interested in sharing a gift idea, the deadline for submissions is November 8, 2018. 

We are looking for products or experiences that are available for purchase in the Annapolis Valley or online, and are focused on children. This could range from homemade toys and clothes to gift cards to attractions and events.

Gift Guide Options

Inclusion in the Valley Family Fun Local Online Gift Guide

• You supply an image of your product, description the price, and link to your website or Facebook page. One product can be featured for each processing fee.
• We’ll promote the blog post during the months of November and December on all our social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. The blog post will be featured on the homepage of ValleyFamilyFun.ca and shared in the enewsletter (1900+ subscribers).
• Option to run a giveaway for a product or service

Cost: $25 (per product). If you have more products you would like to feature, you may purchase more than one “slot”.

Holiday Gift Guide Sponsored Post

Give your product or service and your business even more exposure with a sponsored post! 

• A sponsored blog post highlighting your business and/or products and will including your company name, product name, product description, image of your product, price, and a link to your website. If you would like to have a product reviewed, you will need to provide us with a sample product above the sponsored blog post fee. The blog post will appear separately from our gift guide, and will run sometime in November/December. We’ll share this sponsored post on all our social media channels, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Publication date: Sunday, November 18, 2018.

Payment: Etransfers can be sent to lauracd@ns.sympatico.ca, or cheques made out to Laura Churchill Duke. Invoices and receipts available upon request.
