There are lots of places in the Valley that offer riding lessons. Pony Clubs: Annapolis Branch of The NS Pony Club, Evangeline Pony Club, or the West Valley Pony Club – they offer lessons, summer camps and other activities for riders of all ages.
Annapolis Valley Harness Club – meets in Greenwood. New members always welcome. The club promotes driving for all equines. 902-341-2274.

Black Magic Ranch, North Alton – Our horse care lessons are a great way for your children ages 5 and up and yourself. To learn the basics of horse care. Eventually learning to drive buggies (carts) with the miniatures.
Clay Hill Farm, Sheffield Mills – a beautiful and comfortable horse facility in Sheffield Mills, Nova Scotia. We offer boarding, training and lessons in a safe, supportive atmosphere.
Evangeline Trail Rides – located in Stanley, in the Rawdon Hills offers one and two hour trail rides as well as day rides. Sleigh and wagon rides available. Trail rides are for aged 9+.
Fairy Tale Fields, Waterville – Children’s Riding lessons + Birthday Parties .Trail based 18 months +. Trail rides available.
Fraser Equestrian Centre, Port Williams – offers lessons for riders of all ages whether or not you have your own horse. Summer riding camps available

FreeSpirit Therapeutic Riding Program – A therapeutic riding program will offer equine assisted therapy both on and off horseback through qualified instructors and horses to children and adults for the enhancement of physical, emotional, educational and social development.

Talking Horse, Centreville – We offer equine assisted learning programs in the Annapolis Valley, with certification and program standards provided by the Equine Experiential Learning Association (E3A).
Winsome Blue Stables – Greenwood, Equestrian Riding Center. Winsome Blue Stables is a privately operated horse farm located in Meadowvale, Nova Scotia. The spacious facility features a large 32 stall barn as well as two outdoor riding rings, a full sized indoor ring, beautiful paddocks and pastures and endless hacking trails to explore. We offer a selective lesson program as well as opportunity to ride for our show team.
