Greenwood Military Family Resource Centre – All of our GMFRC programs and services are offered to our military and veteran community members, and when possible, extended to our civilian community members. We offer a variety of child, youth and adult art and craft activities every month. Activities range from DIY Pinterest projects, to painting, to creating dreamcatchers, to cooking a meal for two, to arranging a festive flower centerpiece and much more! Check out

Grow with Art – This program is offered out of the Kingstec Campus of the NSCC in Kentville. On the first Saturday of every month from 1-3, children five and older can go to rent a piece of art for the month ($2). An art workshop is also offered for an additional $2. MAP
Kid Ink Comic Book School -At Kid Ink we aim to train students in the fundamentals of the comic book medium, through drawing and narrative. With that, the emphasis on creativity, style, personal story, and individuality is encouraged, because without that, comics are boring. Kid Ink is operating out of CottonTale, a children’s play cafe located in New Minas.

DROP IN ANYTIME. No appointment needed. Come by our space in Hantsport to make a one-of-a-kind-piece of your very own. Our storefront “classroom” is always ready for you to drop in and make something fun. Choose any glass you’d like from our huge piles of coloured glass, lay it on a blank glass tile, and we’ll fire it in our kilns and have it ready within about a week.
