Apple Cheesecake Bars with Streusel Topping
My neighbour made this cheesecake a few years ago, and it is to die for!
I like it because it’s made in a 9×13 pan, so it makes lots, is easy to cut, and you can cut the pieces any size you want.
It’s always a big hit with crowds!
Apple Cheesecake Bars with Streusel Topping

A delicious cheesecake dessert that is made in a big pan, so serves lots of people!
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Flour
- 1/2 Cup firmly packed brow sugar
- 1 Cup butter
- 2 Packages cream cheese
- 1/2 Cup sugar, plus 2 Tbsp divided
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 Granny Smith apples. Cored and finely chopped, or use a chunky chop.
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 test nutmeg
Streusel Topping
- 1 Cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 Cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 Cup oats
- 1/2 Cup butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In a medium bowl, combine flour and brown sugar.
- Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly.
- Press into a 13x9" baking pan.
- Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese with 1/2 Cup sugar with electric mixer until smooth.
- Add eggs 1 at a time and add vanilla.
- Pour over warm crust.
- In a medium bowl, stir together chopped apples, remaining 2 Tbsp sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg.
- Spoon evenly over cream cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle evenly with streusel topping.
- Bake 30 minutes or until filling is set.
