Ross Creek Centre for the Arts – Experience an amazing program of camps for children and teens, and academies for young artists. Our flagship arts camps, both in summer and at March Break, offer a unique way to experience the arts. All programs are taught by professional working artists who are skilled educators and who love to work with kids. SummerArts combines the best of camp with the best of the arts, with overnight cabins, a full recreation schedule, campfire and of course a core of incredible arts programming. Summer Art Camp with Colleen Gerrits – Tuesday, Aug. 22 – Thursday, August 24th I will be having Art Camp in Greenwich for ages 5 and up! You can choose which time slot you would prefer. The first option is from 9am-12 and the second group will be from 1-4. The fee is $95 and will include all 3 half days, art supplies and a snack each day. Acadia Athletics Camps – Summer Sport & Adventure Camps
This year, the Town of Wolfville is once again partnering with Acadia University to deliver eight amazing weeks of Adventure Camps. These camps promise to be exciting and fun filled, tailored towards promoting active lifestyles and artistic creativity. Camp themes include: Art and Drama; Run, Jump & Throw; Adventures on Bikes;
Multisport Field Sports; Court and Racquet Sports; Adventure: Geocache and Time Travel; Dance and Creative Movement; Water Warriors; Leadership; Survivor Camp; and Cooperative Games.
Are sports more your thing? Then do not worry, Acadia is still offering all of their original sports camps, including basketball, football, hockey, soccer, and volleyball!
CangaRoo Tennis Camps, – Full day and half day options. For ages 5-13, but must be 7+ to attend the full day camps.

Hockey Camp for West Hants – As in past the camp will serve to help prepare the kids for the upcoming tryouts/assessments through skills development, small area games, and conditioning.
Kayak Camp – We are happy to announce we are able to bring back Kayak Camp this summer to Aylesford Lake. We are able to offer the program for two different weeks, each being three days in length. The program is for youth aged 8-13. Similar to previous years, we are providing transportation from the Municipal Office (87 Cornwallis Street) in Kentville to Aylesford Lake and back daily.
Rugby Camps – Rookie Rugby is a non-contact way to introduce rugby to kids- our main focus is fun! Practices are on Tuesdays beginning July 4 at Collins Road Field in Port Williams from 6:00-7:00p.m. The cost is $50.00/child- ages 5+.
Triathlon Camp for Kids, Kentville – 8:30-10:30 Tuesdays and Thursdays for aged 7-11.
Windsor Multi Sport – Check out our new multi sport camps for kids ages 9-12. Campers will enjoy morning gym time, daily swims and afternoon sport tutorials with a different theme each week. Kingswood Camp– is located on Lake George, is an Evangelical Christian Camp. Camp provides an atmosphere where campers encounter Jesus Christ and grow as His disciples through wholesome relationships with dedicated Christian leaders, in an inviting outdoor setting, while participating in safe programs and activities relevant to their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual development. They have a variety of camps throughout the summer for campers ages 5+. There are also leadership camps and camps for youth with disabilities.
Sherbrooke Lake Camp – Sherbrooke Lake Camp is a fun, residential United Church summer camp for campers age 6-16. During a week at camp, campers experience canoeing, swimming, crafts, nature activities, games, music, hiking, campouts, campfires, vespers and so much more! Do not be alarmed if you come home with a huge smile, a full belly of great food, singing crazy songs, and full of memories and stories.

Cotton Tale Cafe, New Minas – A series of camps in July with a different theme each week. 9:00am-3:00pm Mon-Fri. $195.00 per week, which includes art/craft supplies, a healthy snack and lunch. This year we will be offering 8 weeks of camp to accommodate families. We will begin the summer on July 4th and end camp on August 25th. A complete summer camp calendar with details will be posted and available the second week of June once the Camp Supervisors are on site.

Greenwood Military Family Resource Centre – Summer Fun Camp for Preschoolers. 7 Weekly sessions starting Tuesday, July 4 and ending Friday, August 18 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Cost: $55 per child, per weekly session. Children must be aged 3 to 5 years and able to use the washroom independently and enjoy an active outside atmosphere. A yummy snack will be included. Registration deadline is the Monday prior to each weekly session.
Hantsport Recreation – offering full weeks of day camp over the summer
Kentville Recreation – Camps for junior and seniors for ages 5-12. $100 per week. Theme weeks throughout July and August.
Kings County presents our Mobile Day Camps for Summer 2017! Camps will be in Aylesford, Coldbrook, Aldershot, and Burlington this summer for 50$ weekly per child.

Kingston Recreation – Camp begins on Tuesday, July 4th and ends on August 25th. The Kingston Recreation Department is pleased to offer an eight-week summer day camp for youths aged 5 to 12.
Middleton Recreation – Looking for some fun and adventure for your children this summer, but also want them to be in a safe and structured environment? We are excited to be able to offer our Day Camp program again this summer. Day Camp basic information:

Woodville Recreation – Day Camp the week of July 31- August 4. The cost will continue to be $40 for each session this year and $25 for the morning day camp.
Acadia Summer Music Academy – Join us at Acadia University for a musical experience that hits all the right notes. This July 2-8, we welcome young musicians to experience our Summer Music Academy. Our Concert Band Camp is designed for students ages 10-18, with experience ranging from beginner to advanced. Each student will play at the right level for their musical development. Rock Camp – Windsor. There’s still time to register for both Jr Rock and Sr Rock camp. Come join the fun and be a part of this awesome music experience. Each camp will focus on songwriting/performing/recording and ends with a final concert. Contact Moe’s Music School for more details.
Junior Choir Camp and Youth Choir Camp, Berwick – For 2 weeks every summer, voices raised together in song float among the hemlocks of the Berwick United Church Campground.
Our camps are open to all, from those just starting to find their voice to experienced singers – there is a place for everyone in this friendly, family-like atmosphere. It feels a little bit like coming home and both singers and staff return to Berwick year after year after year. We have three camps to choose from, for all ages!
Autism Summer Camp – Camp Spectrum, our Summer Day Camp for Children & Youth with Autism is a recreation program for children and youth on the Autism Spectrum between the ages of 5 and 25. Each camper receives 1 to 1 support and activities are designed specifically with participants’ needs and interests in mind. All applicants must have an autism spectrum diagnosis or be awaiting an autism assessment.
Registration for CAMP Spectrum, the Valley’s Summer Day Camp for Children & Youth with Autism will open this Wednesday, May 24th. at 9:00 am
Camp Canada is an exciting cross-cultural boarding opportunity for children aged 8-14 years, hosted at King’s-Edgehill School in Windsor, Nova Scotia from July 17th-31st, 2017. Students from Canada, Mexico, Hong Kong, Dominican Republic, Korea, Switzerland, Germany and France gather on the campus for two weeks of experiential learning. Students also participate in camping trips, Halifax cultural visits, Art, Music, Sports and other varied activities focused on building self-confidence and interpersonal friendships. Professional and experienced Independent School teachers and selected councilors have run the camp for 5 years to great response. Creative Computing Camp, Kentville – In partnership with the Town of Kentville, we will be offering a week long summer Creative Computing camp. Brilliant Labs / Labos créatifs will be joining us for hands on robot building. Horton Brain War will run a STEAM competition. We will explore themes in computation thinking by building weird, fun and creative programs in Scratch. We’ll also get outdoors and run around like maniacs.

Debate Camp – Windsor, Debate Camp is a place to learn, and we believe one of the best ways to develop new skills is through practice and effective feedback. At camp, debaters are on their feet, raising points, countering and developing new abilities in an active way. We are more about this active form of learning and less about lecture-style teaching. This camp will be held at the Kings Edgehill Campus, Windsor from August 7-11 for grades 5 to 11.
Entrepreneurship Summer Camp – Kentville, Centre for Entrepreneurship Education and Development is holding a summer camp. Develop new skills during this five day camp July 10 – 14 for Grades 4 to 7, with fun, experimental, group activities that draw out your inner entrepreneur. Register before July 3rd.
Wild Spirits Forest and Nature School Camps – Spend a week in nature getting connected and experience the wonders and joy this beautiful earth has to offer. Our day camps are Monday-Friday 9-5 for ages 3-12.
Youth Specialty Camps in Kentville – Ages 12-15
Explore. Investigate. Lead. Learn. Have fun! These youth programs (for ages 12-15) run Monday/Friday 10am-4pm. Each program has a unique focus, with opportunities for learning new things, engaging with community leaders, and contributing to our community.
CentreStage Theatre, Kentville – This summer CentreStage will be hosting drama camps for youth! Participants will learn stage skills such as voice, movement, character development and technical aspects. Camp Fees: $150 per person per week. Each participant is responsible for bringing a lunch. CentreStage will provide all snacks. Camp Times: Monday to Friday 9:00 to 3:00 (doors open at 8:30am), with a public performance at 2pm on Friday afternoon.

This year we are doing the amazing Broadway hit- The Addams Family!
Based on the comic strip and later tv show and movies, this musical by Lippa, Brickman and Elice sees our beloved Addams Family on the brink of change.
Camp will be offered for students 10-18 and run from August 7th– August 25th. During this camp the students will be trained in dance, music and theatre technique while rehearsing for a full scale musical production.
All who audition will be accepted. However, if you would like to come to camp and be part of the chorus, no audition is required, just fill out a registration form.

Quick as a Wink – This year, once again, we are proud to offer two theatre camp experiences. For camp participants ages 7-12 we will host a one-week Theatre Camp beginning on July 24. For camp participants ages 12-16 we will host a two-week Musical Theatre Camp beginning on July 31. Participants will learn how to communicate meaning through movement and voice as well as they will be able to understand the fundamental concepts of character development. Participants will also gain understanding of the audition and rehearsal process. Camps will focus on personal growth and skill development through explorations of theatre concepts by means of activities and games.
